Picturesque historic churches dot the Central Texas landscape and are as varied as they are numerous. Since the arrival of the first missionaries in the mid-1800s, religion has played a vital role in our community. With many denominations represented, church life is not limited to Sunday morning worship services; a variety of activities take place during the week as well.

Recreational outings for youth and adults are common ways to help unite a congregation and community. Several churches offer nursery and Mother’s Day Out programs, with a few also providing pre-school programs.
